1. Donation Refunds
Wimraw Trust maintains a "No Refund" policy on all donations to ensure that funds are immediately allocated to our active projects in Baleswar. However, we will consider refund requests under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Technical Errors: If a duplicate transaction occurs due to a technical glitch in our Flask-based payment gateway.
- Unauthorized Transactions: If a donation was made fraudulently using your card/account without your permission.
- Incorrect Amounts: If an unintended amount was entered during the donation process.
2. Refund Request Process
To request a refund under the exceptions listed above, you must contact us within 7 days of the transaction date. Please provide:
- Your full name and contact details.
- Proof of the transaction (Transaction ID or Screenshot).
- A brief explanation of why the refund is being requested.
3. 80G Tax Benefits
Once an 80G tax-exempt certificate has been generated and sent to the donor, Wimraw Trust cannot process a refund, as the transaction has been recorded for government auditing and transparency purposes.
4. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Please allow 7-10 working days for the credit to appear in your account, depending on your bank's policies.
